The seas around Vanua Levu, also known as Sandalwood Island, provide some of the finest diving in the South Pacific. Rainbow Reef and Savusavu Bay are two of the most well-known. The island itself does not have the finest beaches for relaxing, but the snorkeling is unrivaled. In reality, Jean-Michel Cousteau was so taken with it that he developed a resort overlooking Savusavu Bay.
Savusavu is Fiji's fastest-growing city. It has a vibrant ex-pat culture, a thriving bar, and a restaurant scene, and is a popular stop for people island hopping by ferry.
Divers travel from all around the planet to participate in the world's first shark dive, which features eight different species of shark. The Ultimate Shark Encounter at Aqua-Trek includes numerous bull sharks (the world's largest), whitetip coral sharks, blacktip reef sharks, nurse sharks, lemon sharks, grey reef sharks, silvertip sharks, and over 300 other fish species.
As if that wasn't enough, 16+ foot tiger sharks come in on a daily basis, making this a "shark lover's dream swim." Aqua-Trek has been instrumental in establishing two Shark Marine Reserves, which directly involve the Fijian people in shark conservation. The Ultimate Shark Encounter takes place inside this protected area!
Sailing Fiji isn't just a perfect way to explore the calm ocean waters; it's also the fastest way to get from one island to the next. You may be enjoying a fully uninhabited island paradise within minutes of casting off from Viti Levu's mainland. Allow the sea breeze to transport you to a tropical paradise.

Travel from high mountain tops to picturesque beaches with crisp white sands. Deep inside each lush green haven, you'll find majestic waterfalls and a diverse assortment of native wildlife.Impressive isn't even close to describing it.
Regardless of your ability level, race down the Navua River's whitewater rapids. The river's Class II-III whitewater offers an experience you'll never forget while still benefiting the nearby communities that live along its banks.
Skydive across the archipelago during your stay in Fiji for the best aerial views and an exciting experience.
Choose from a range of heights to begin your leap, and then add a picture or video kit to document your adventure. Since any skydive is a tandem leap, even inexperienced skydivers will feel comfortable in the company of a competent instructor.
