By bus: Tāmaki Link buses run frequently to/from SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium from Britomart every 15 minutes, 7 days a week. Coded as TMK Bus (the bright blue buses are wheelchair and pushchair friendly). Hop on a Bus Stop 7019, at 55 Customs Street East (near Coffee Club Café). Allow 20-30 minutes travel time. Hop off at Bus Stop 7320. Departs every 15 minutes daily
By car: Coming from the Southern, Northern, or Western motorway, take the Port exit and follow the road until reaching a T-intersection (ports of Auckland will be directly in front). Turn right onto Tamaki Drive. Kelly Tarlton's is located on the right-hand side of the road (10-minute drive). Free car parking is available in the Kelly Tarlton's car park, and on Tamaki Drive, subject to availability

The Wellington Cable Car has been in use for over a century and has long been regarded as an important part of Wellington's heritage by locals. Join tourists and residents alike for a short drive from the Wellington CBD via the Kelburn district and past the cosy terraced houses up to the Kelburn Lookout. After admiring the breathtaking views of the city skyline and harbor from Te Whanganui-a-Tara, you can comfortably find your way to a variety of other attractions, such as the beautifully landscaped Botanic Gardens or Zealandia. If you want to stretch your wings, you should ride the Cable Car back down or take a scenic 40-minute walk back down.

There is literally no better way to discover Wellington's secret beauty than to take this 5-minute trip from the city center up through the hillside terraced houses of Kelburn to the lookout situated high above the city. The Wellington Cable Car is New Zealand's only operational funicular railway, located at the end of Cable Car Lane, off Lambton Quay in the heart of Wellington's central business district. It offers a one-of-a-kind mode of public transportation from the city to the Kelburn suburb and the Cable Car summit.

It's a 6-minute drive or 8-minute walk from the Wellington i-Site Visitor Center, the entrance is located between Flight Centre and Countdown Supermarket.
